New Delhi: In a major blow to MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi high court has dismissed plea of MP which challenged the arrest and remand by Enforcement Directorate (ED). ED arrested Sanjay Singh for having involvement in alleged liquor case. Court in its verdict said that no ground was made out to grant relief.
Earlier, HC today heard the matter and granted time to the Enforcement Directorate to file a reply on AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh’s petition challenging his arrest and remand in the Excise policy case. Also Delhi’s rouse avenue court has sent AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh to judicial custody till October 27. Sanjay Singh was arrested by the ED on October 4 for having connection in alleged money laundering case.
