Vigilant BSF foils smugglers plan, recovers one bottle filled with heroin in Amritsar

Amritsar: Today during morning hours, on specific information regarding the presence of contraband items, a search operation was launched by BSF on the outskirts of Village – Daoke, District – Amritsar. Further, during thorough search at about 07:40 am, troops recovered 01 small bottle filled with suspected contraband item Heroin (Gross wt – appx 360 gm), wrapped with yellow adhesive tape from farming field. Vigilant troops of BSF, once again, were able to foil nefarious design of smugglers.
