Head Constable Murder case: Barnala police arrest all 4 accused after a brief encounter
Punjab Desk: In less than 24 hours, Barnala Police has arrested all accused in head constable murder case after a brief encounter, said Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav. DGP took to X and shared this development in the murder case of Head Constable Darshan Singh.
DGP said, “@BarnalaPolice has arrested all 4 accused involved in the killing of HC Darshan Singh after a brief encounter in which one of the accused got injured 1 pistol & 2 live cartridges have been recovered from the accused.” Police also revealed that 1 pistol and 2 live cartridges were also recovered from the accused.

Head Constable Darshan Singh was assaulted by four Kabbadi players. On Sunday Night, all accused who were also drunk had a heated argument with the owner of the restaurant following which the restaurant owner called police. HC Darshan Singh and his team reached spot but were assaulted by drunken players. Singh was rushed to hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.
