Former Vice Chancellor of Baba Farid Medical University Dr. Shavinder Singh passes away
Faridkot: Former Vice Chancellor of Baba Farid Medical University, Faridkot Dr. Shavinder Singh Gill (Dangarh – Barnala) SAS this morning. Passed away at Nagar (Mohali). He is a PGI. He was also the chief bone doctor in Chandigarh for a long time. He was the uncle of Deputy Commissioner, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mrs. Parneet Shergill.
His last rites will be held today, October 12, at 2:00 PM at Sector-25, Chandigarh. After this phase 5, S.A.S. Prayers will also be offered in his name at Gurdwara Sahib located in Nagar (Mohali).
Regarding the death of Dr. Shavinder Singh Gill, prominent personalities from different fields have expressed grief and described it as an irreparable loss for the society and said that their prayer is that God rests the departed soul in His feet and give strength to the family to bear this loss.
