Pathankot attack mastermind Shahid Latif shot dead in Pakistan

National Desk: India’s most wanted terrorist Shahid Latif has been murdered in Pakistan. Shahid was the mastermind of the Pathankot attack. He was shot dead by unknown assailants in Sialkot. NIA had registered a case against Shahid under UAPA. He was a terrorist listed by the Government of India.

Shahid Talif was a resident of Gujranwala in Punjab province of Pakistan. He was associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was the commander of the Sialkot sector, who was involved in monitoring the launch of terrorists into India and planning terrorist attacks.

Shahid Latif was arrested on November 12, 1994 and deported through Wagah in 2010 after serving 16 years in Indian prisons. Shahid Latif was the mastermind of the attack that took place in Pathankot, Punjab on January 2, 2016. Apart from this, Shahid was also an accused in the case of hijacking an Indian Airlines plane.
